Product Operate Guide

1. Grass-roots level treatment: Before installing the extruded plastic insulation board, the first step is to thoroughly clean the surface of the plant facility. This step is crucial, because dust, oil and other impurities will affect the bonding effect of the insulation board and the grassroots. Use professional cleaning tools, such as high-pressure water gun, broom, cleaner, etc., to carefully remove all kinds of pollutants on the surface of the facility, to ensure that the grass-roots surface is flat and dry. For some uneven parts, also need to be polished or repair, for the subsequent installation of insulation board to create a good foundation conditions.

2. Line positioning: according to the detailed design requirements, the use of ink bucket or laser marking instrument in the processed grass-roots level to accurately pop up the installation of insulation board position line. These lines are just like the blueprint of the building, which provides a clear guide for the accurate installation of the insulation board. In the process of bouncing lines, the operation should be carried out in strict accordance with the design dimensions to ensure that the insulation boards are neatly arranged and evenly spaced to ensure the aesthetics and performance of the whole insulation system.

3. Paste insulation board: choose special extruded insulation board designed for the special binder, will be evenly coated in the back of the insulation board. Pay attention to the thickness when applying, to ensure that the binder can fully cover the back of the insulation board to provide sufficient bonding force. Then, in accordance with the previous position line, the insulation board will be accurately pasted on the grass-roots level. In the pasting process, the insulation board should be gently tapped with a rubber mallet, so that the insulation board and the grass-roots level are in full contact with each other, and any air that may be present is discharged to ensure that the bond is strong. At the same time, pay attention to the flatness between neighbouring insulation boards to avoid the appearance of height difference.

4. Board seam processing: insulation board will inevitably exist between certain gaps, these gaps, if not dealt with, will become a channel for heat loss. Therefore, the need to use special sealant to fill the board gap. In the filling process, to ensure that the sealant fully fill the gap, and the surface is flat and smooth. After filling, the sealant should be checked, such as leakage or uneven place, timely repair, in order to maximise the prevention of heat loss through the board seam, to ensure the overall performance of the insulation system.

5. Fixed to strengthen: for large equipment in factories, such as boilers, reactors, etc., as well as some parts susceptible to external impact, such as corners, doorways, etc., the binder alone may not be enough to ensure the stability of the insulation board. In these parts, it is necessary to use anchors to further fix the insulation board. According to the actual situation to choose the appropriate specifications of the anchors, the use of professional tools will be installed in the insulation board and the grass-roots level, to ensure that the insulation board in the external forces will not be shifted or fall off, to enhance the reliability of the entire insulation system and security.

6. Surface treatment: according to the actual needs of the factory and the use of the environment, the surface of the installed insulation board for protection. For example, in some areas with fire protection requirements, can be coated with fire protection performance of good protective paint; in some areas susceptible to mechanical damage, can be coated with wear-resistant protective coating.
