1. Exceptional Thermal Insulation: Thanks to its closed cell structure, this material effectively blocks heat transfer, significantly boosting the ceiling's thermal insulation capabilities. As a result, it reduces building energy consumption and fosters a cozy indoor environment.
2. Superior Strength and Stability: XPS extruded panels for ceilings boast remarkable compressive strength, maintaining their shape even under prolonged loads. This ensures the ceiling's resilience against deformation caused by gravity or changes in climate, guaranteeing long-term durability.
3. Outstanding Waterproofing and Moisture Resistance: With its closed cell design, this material exhibits minimal water absorption, effectively warding off moisture damage. It prevents issues like paint peeling and mold formation due to high humidity, enhancing the ceiling's longevity.
4. Exceptional Sound Insulation: These panels adeptly absorb and isolate noise, providing a premium acoustic environment. Ideal for spaces requiring superior soundproofing like offices, hotel rooms, and bedrooms, they ensure optimal tranquility.
5. Fire Retardant: Certain XPS extruded ceiling panels meet stringent flame retardant standards, achieving national B1 level or higher ratings. This elevates building safety, especially in large public areas and high-rise structures.
6. Lightweight and Convenient: With moderate density and ease of installation, these panels lighten the load on building structures. Coupled with compatible keel systems, they streamline construction processes, reducing time and effort.
7. Environmentally Friendly and Durable: Crafted from eco-friendly, non-polluting materials, these panels endure various weather conditions while maintaining peak performance. They boast a long service life and can be recycled after use, embodying sustainability.
In essence, XPS extruded polystyrene insulation boards for ceilings represent a cutting-edge choice for green buildings. They not only meet energy efficiency standards but also elevate indoor comfort and safety.
Here are four specific application scenarios of packaging machinery:
1、Cold storage cold chain insulation
2、Building roof insulation
3、Steel structure roof
4、Building wall insulation
5、Building ground moisturising
6、Square ground
7, Ground frost control
8, Central air-conditioning ventilation ducts
9, Airport runway heat insulation layer
10, High-speed railway roadbed, etc.
1. Initial Preparation
- Measurement and Cutting: Accurately measure the dimensions of the extruded board based on the ceiling's actual area and shape. Utilize specialized tools to precisely cut the board, ensuring it conforms to the contours of the ceiling.
- Cleaning and Leveling: Ensure the ceiling base surface is clean, dry, devoid of dust, and grease-free. Address any unevenness by leveling the surface beforehand.
2. Adhesive Preparation
- Prepare the designated binder or adhesive tape, following the manufacturer's recommendations or relevant specifications. Confirm its suitability for affixing the ceiling extruder.
3. Application of Adhesive
- Evenly apply the special binder onto the ceiling substrate as per specified requirements or onto the backside of the extruded sheet.
4. Installing the Extruded Sheet
- Carefully affix the extruded sheet to the ceiling base using the binder. Pay attention to aligning the edges and eliminating air bubbles. Ensure the boards are snug against each other to prevent gaps that may compromise insulation.
5. Fixing and Joining
- Use specialized fixings or nails, if necessary, to temporarily secure the extruded panels. Remove these fixings after the adhesive sets.
- When joining two or more extruded panels, ensure the joints are sealed using caulking or sealing tape.
6. Detail Work
- For areas around lamps, air vents, or fire sprinkler heads, perform precise cutting and installation to avoid interference with the functionality of these fixtures. Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing around these areas.
7. Quality Inspection
- Upon completion of installation, conduct a comprehensive quality inspection. Check for air bubbles, warping, cracks, etc., to verify that the overall installation meets project requirements.
8. Follow-up Procedures
- After the extruded plastic board fully cures, proceed with the installation of decorative layers such as gypsum boards or ceiling panels. Adhere to relevant building codes to ensure compliance with fire prevention, earthquake resistance, and environmental standards. Professional guidance is advised. Depending on requirements, additional anchors or metal mesh may be necessary to reinforce fixing. Refer to product specifications and engineering design for specific installation methods.
