Our lightweight insulation XPS foam board for roof and ceiling showcases a design that emphasizes both functionality and ease of handling. The board's construction is optimized to achieve a perfect balance between its lightweight nature and its insulation capabilities. The XPS foam is carefully formulated to have a low density while maintaining a robust cellular structure that provides excellent thermal insulation.
The outer surface of the board is smooth and consistent, which not only makes it visually appealing but also simplifies the installation process. We offer different surface finishes depending on the specific application requirements. For example, a matte finish can be chosen for a more understated look, while a glossy finish can provide better resistance to dirt and stains. The edges of the board are precisely cut to ensure a snug fit when installed, minimizing any potential gaps that could compromise the insulation performance.
In addition, our XPS foam board can be customized with various features. For instance, we can add pre-cut grooves or channels on the board to facilitate the installation of pipes, wires, or other building components. This design feature not only saves installation time but also helps to maintain the integrity of the insulation layer.

The most prominent feature of our XPS foam board is, of course, its lightweight nature. Compared to many other insulation materials, our XPS foam board is significantly lighter, making it much easier to transport, handle, and install. This reduces the labor intensity and cost associated with the installation process, especially for large-scale projects. Despite its light weight, the board still offers excellent thermal insulation properties, effectively reducing heat transfer and maintaining a comfortable indoor temperature.
Another key feature is its flexibility. The XPS foam board can be easily cut and shaped to fit different roof and ceiling geometries. Whether it's a complex curved roof or a ceiling with multiple angles, our board can be customized on-site to provide a perfect fit. This flexibility also allows for easy integration with other building materials and components.
Our XPS foam board also has good moisture resistance. The closed-cell structure of the foam prevents water from penetrating the board, protecting the underlying building structure from moisture damage. This is particularly important for roof and ceiling applications where exposure to rain and humidity is common. Additionally, the board is resistant to pests and chemicals, ensuring its long-term durability.
Our high-quality insulation XPS foam board is suitable for a diverse range of roof and ceiling applications. In residential buildings, it can be used for insulating attics, basements, and ceilings of all types of homes, from single-family houses to multi-story apartments. It helps homeowners to save on energy costs, improve the comfort of their living spaces, and protect their homes from moisture damage.
In commercial buildings, our XPS foam board is widely used in office buildings, retail stores, restaurants, and healthcare facilities. It plays a crucial role in maintaining a consistent indoor climate, which is essential for the well-being of occupants and the proper functioning of equipment. The board's durability and compatibility with different building systems make it a reliable choice for commercial projects.
For industrial buildings, such as manufacturing plants, warehouses, and storage facilities, our XPS foam board provides effective insulation while being able to withstand the harsh industrial environment. Its resistance to chemicals and physical damage ensures that it can protect the building structure and the goods stored inside.
I. Preliminary Preparation
1. Clean the Surface: Thoroughly remove dust, debris, grease, old coatings, and other substances from the roof surface that could affect bonding. Repair any voids, cracks, or uneven areas.
2. Measurement and Layout: Following design requirements and drawings, accurately measure the roof area, establish control lines, and plan the layout direction and joint locations for the extruded plastic sheets.
II. Base Layer Treatment
1. Apply Interface Agent: Evenly apply a special interface agent to the cleaned roof surface to enhance the bond between the extruded plastic board and the base layer.
III. Cutting and Pre-treatment of Extruded Boards
1. Size Cutting: Cut the extruded plastic sheets to the correct size according to roof dimensions and layout requirements.
2. Hole Cutting: If there are fixings or other penetrations on the roof, pre-cut the necessary holes in the extruded sheets using a hole cutter.
IV. Installation of Extruded Plastic Sheets
1. Apply the Boards: Use a special insulation board adhesive to affix the extruded plastic boards according to the planned layout, ensuring there are no gaps and the joints are tight.
2. Fix with Anchors: Insert anchors at specified locations and secure them firmly to the base layer to prevent movement or detachment due to wind load.
V. Sealing and Protection
1. Joint Treatment: Seal the joints and peripheries of the extruded plastic boards with sealing tape or waterproof sealant to prevent moisture infiltration.
2. Additional Protective Layer: Depending on project requirements, apply a mesh cloth or metal mesh over the extruded sheets, then coat with anti-cracking mortar or cover with waterproof roll-roofing to enhance waterproofing and structural strength.
VI. Quality Inspection
1. Comprehensive Inspection: After installation, carefully inspect to ensure all extruded plastic sheets are tightly attached, with no warping or hollow areas, tight joints, and firm anchors.
2. Repair and Perfect: Correct any deficiencies promptly to ensure the entire roof insulation layer meets quality standards.
VII. Follow-up Process
After installing the extruded plastic board insulation layer, additional construction layers may be required, such as a waterproof layer, protective layer, or a tile or concrete leveling layer.
